Ist ein bisschen so, als wenn er in der Registry rumfummelt und wenn das Windows dann nicht mehr funktioniert, er herummeckert, dass das eine Bananensoftware sei, nur weil sie gegen seine Fummerlei nicht abgesichert ist. Tja, man kann es halt nicht idiotensicher genug machen.

Richtig. Wäre auch kein Problem, wenn es konstruktiv kommuniziert würde. Stattdessen abfälliges Verhalten gegen das Team und alle Mitwirkenden. Das hat hier nichts zu suchen und ist auch allgemein daneben.

Habe ich nirgendwo von ihm gelesen, zumindest nicht hier in den letzten Posts, von daher verstehe ich die Anschuldigung nicht... Ja, der Ton ist nicht vollen Lobes für die Sofware und liest sich recht harsch, aber daneben finde ich es nicht.
Im Weiteren verstehe seinen aktuellen Frust sehr gut. Ich habe es mit sehr viel Mühe geschafft das System zum Laufen zu bekommen und vieles nur durch Ausprobieren und Glück. Manche Fragen sind weiterhin offen, die nicht beantwortet werden (können?).
Ich arbeite nebenbei als Systemintegratior mit einem Elektriker zusammen und so begeistert ich am Anfang auch von dem System war, so würde ich die OpenWB doch aktuell niemandem mehr empfehlen.
Es wird hier an vielen Stellen Kritik geübt, teils konstruktiv, teils mit (wie hier) mit viel aufgestautem Frust, weil eine Ausgabe im vierstelligen €-Bereich nicht oder nicht wie erwartet funktioniert. Hier im Forum wird dann auf die Master-Version verwiesen zu der in der In-Software-Doku steht: "Die enthaltenen Anpassungen sind teilweise noch nicht getestet und enthalten potentiell Fehler." Dies möchte ich nicht für ein Auto verwenden, was ich täglich brauche. Alternativ wird auf die verbesserte Wartbarkeit des Systems seitens der Softwareentwickler verwiesen, was einem Nutzer recht egal sein mag.
Und die OpenWB ist ja bewusst auf offene Schnittstellen ausgelegt, die von außen bedient werden können. Leider ist die Doku und Support dann hierzu (wie ich schon mehrfach anmerkte) nicht bzw. spärlich vorhanden. Dann auf die Leute zu schimpfen, die diese Offenheit des Systems nutzen wollen finde ich nicht ok.

Es gab auch abfälligen PN-Schriftverkehr. Des Weiteren - für Frustbewältigung -> Sandsack kaufen. Das hat hier nichts verloren, weil es viele Ehrenamtliche demotiviert.

Wenn ein SW-Modul "klemmt", kannst du im release warten oder die neuesten Anpassungen - also bugfixes (, die oft nicht von openWB initiiert, sondern durch FW-updates der Hersteller kommen) - probieren. Die master-update-Intervalle sind viel kürzer als realease.
Ich war noch nie Freund des Wartens, aber das entscheidet jede(r) selbst.
Von openWB wird es sicher keine offizielle Empfehlung zu master geben, aber wo sollen bugfixes denn sonst zuerst behoben sein? Das sollte man schon im Hinterkopf haben.

Seit dem Update auf die Release Version taucht alle halbe Stunde folgende Meldung im Log auf:
Habe die SoC Ermittlung auf Manuell und das SoC Log ist leer. Ich habe von der letzten Beta auf den Relase gewechselt, da dieser nun neuer war. Bisher ist das nicht aufgetreten.

Hat sich hinsichtlich des "Manuellen SoC" Moduls etwas geändert?
Muss etwas anderes eingestellt werden damit der von der Pro ausgelesene SoC wieder verwendet wird?
Kann ich noch wietere Informationen liefern die das Problem eingrenzen können?
Bin ich der einzige der das Problem hat?
Soll ich wieder auf den Masterzweig wechseln um das Problem zu lösen?
Bis dahin hat eigentlich für mich alles soweit funktioniert. Deshalb bin ich auf den Releasezweig gesechselt. Jedoch wenn das mit dem automatischen SoC auslesen nicht klappt funktionieren ja auch meine anderen Möglichkeiten wie Min-SoC, Zielladen, Zeitladen usw. nicht mehr...

Muss etwas anderes eingestellt werden damit der von der Pro ausgelesene SoC wieder verwendet wird?

Soll ich wieder auf den Masterzweig wechseln um das Problem zu lösen?
Bis dahin hat eigentlich für mich alles soweit funktioniert. Deshalb bin ich auf den Releasezweig gesechselt. Jedoch wenn das mit dem automatischen SoC auslesen nicht klappt funktionieren ja auch meine anderen Möglichkeiten wie Min-SoC, Zielladen, Zeitladen usw. nicht mehr...

Schwer zu sagen. Vermutlich nicht, aber solange der erweiterte Modus der Pro (PWM+…..) nicht korrigiert wird, kann ich ihn nicht verwenden (und damit dieses Fehlerbild testen), da beide Autos bei mir nicht mehr selbstständig mit der Ladung beginnen.
Du kannst den SoC aber theoretisch auch wirklich manuell, also von Hand über die Oberfläche eingeben…
